National's loyalty program is called the Emerald Club. Members earn 1 rental credit for every qualified car rental. Cash in 7 rental credits for a free rental day for any car class with no blackout dates. You can also choose any car midsize or above on the Emerald Aisle at the Midsize rate. Emerald Club Executive and Executive Elite members unlock additional benefits like guaranteed upgrades and private airport delivery. Emerald Club membership is free.

National Car Rental Return Policy

National rental cars must be returned at the agreed upon day, time, and location. There is a 29 minute grace period for daily rentals. Returning a car more than 2.5 hours late will incur an additional daily rental charge. Rental cars may be returned to a different location with prior arrangement and will be charged a one-time drop charge.
