These October Sales are So Good, They're Scary
While we're still very much committed to spooky season, the sales in October are so scary-good that our editors are thinking about jumping ahead to their holiday shopping. We're recapping this month's best sales to help you score some monster-sized savings.
Deja BOO! It seems like just yesterday that Amazon announced their Prime Day sale in July, but they are already back with another one for October. Our editors are confident that this sale is going to be the ultimate kickoff to the holiday shopping season. If you’re like us, you’re still very much committed to spooky season, but these October sales are so scary-good that you may want to think about jumping ahead to holiday shopping.
It’s unlikely that Amazon will run another Prime Day sale this year (we typically only see two a year) so these are likely to be some of the best prices you’ll see this season. Just like in July, there are a ton of retailers also offering amazing sales to compete with Amazon. Our editors know every trick (or treat) in the book to help you navigate this month of spooktacular savings.
Here are the best sales to shop in October:
Shop Now: Macy’s VIP Sale - September 26th - October 7th
Macy’s VIP sale is back and it’s happening now through October 7th. This sale is typically one of the best sales we see from Macy’s. Shoppers can score an extra 10-30% off items labeled ‘VIP’ when they use the code VIP during checkout. Shipping is free on orders over $25 when you sign into a free Macy’s account. It adds $8.95 to your order otherwise.
Our editors have already shopped the sale and found great deals on bedding, apparel, and more. We found some exceptionally great steals on beauty from brands like MAC and Clinique. Check out some of our favorite deals so far:
