While we are made up of (mostly) millennials here at Brad's Deals, that doesn't mean we can't appreciate elements of Gen-Z style. You'll have to pry our skinny jeans out of our cold dead hands, and we're not going to stop doing the front tuck - even if it's cheugy - but we will get on board with some of the current trends made popular by Gen Z. We're all for the oversized fits, balanced proportions, and mixing of styles that they do to keep things fresh and interesting.

Our editors have looked to some of the top Gen-Z style icons to get inspiration on how to dress in this transition from summer to fall. These looks may have been spotted on Gen-Z stars, but they have been selected with millennials in mind. These 'fits will update your style, but not be so trendy that you look like you're trying too hard to fit in. Since we're all about saving that guap (a.k.a money for all you non Gen-Zers), we've recreated these looks knowing that you don't have to have an influencer-sized bank account in order to dress like one.

Emma Chamberlain

a picture of Emma Chamberlain crossing the street wearing brown trousers, a black tee shirt, and penny loafers besides a recreation of her outfit for less money

Few influencers have had a bigger impact on Gen-Z fashion than social media icon Emma Chamberlain. In her early years, her laid-back style defined the VSCO-girl era. Since then, her style has evolved far past Birkenstocks and scrunchies. You can now find her fully embracing haute couture styles that push the envelope. We love her eye for high fashion, but her street style is still our absolute fave.

We adore the simplicity of this look that matches a high-waisted loose-fit brown trouser with a mock-neck tee. Emma's look pairs her outfit with the vintage Louis Vuitton Cite Bag, which we couldn't find for less than $1,300 on resale. Ours gets the same look and high-quality feel by subbing the Coach Swing Bag in a rich chocolate brown. At $395, this one is still a bit of a splurge, but this genuine-leather bag is sure to last you. If you're not looking for an investment piece, we found many similar-style bags on SHEIN for around $15.

Hailey Bieber

a pictured of Hailey Bieber walking down the street in an oversized trench coach, denim shorts, and a white tank besides a recreation of the same outfit

As the daughter of actor Steven Baldwin and the wife of music phenom Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber is quite used to the spotlight. Despite her famous connections, she has been able to pave her own way and become one of the most iconic dressers of the 21st century.

She is a master of playing with proportions and is not shy about her love of the oversized blazer or topcoat. This look, which pairs an oversized trench with Levi's denim cutoffs, is one of our favorite transitional summer-to-fall looks that can be easily duplicated.

We love the play on the "dad look" of socks with fisherman sandals. Not only is it stylish, but the socks make it more appropriate for autumn wear. She completes the look with the Bottega Veneta Jodie Bag which retails at $3,500. Our editors found a near-perfect dupe at Target for $30!

Zendaya

a picture of Zendaya in a denim jacket, white tank, and wide leg trousers besides a recreation of that outfit for less money

Zendaya might be known for her jaw-dropping red carpet looks and, more recently, her matching couples outfits with beau Tom Holland, but we have always appreciated her dressed-down "off duty" looks.

One of our favorite looks to recreate is one that pairs a wide-leg trouser with a cropped tee, denim jacket, and lug-sole booties. This look is chill, laid-back, and incredibly wearable. The wide-leg trouser and chunky booties add an unexpected edge when worn alongside a classic denim jacket. It is equal parts comfortable and put together.

Our version opts for a slightly longer tank to cover up the tummy in the cooler months, though you can certainly sub a cropped style to stay true to the original look!
